Commercial Factory Project - Surrey
June 2025

We recently had the honour of completing our largest commercial solar installation to date for a dental manufacturing facility in Surrey.

The client approached us because their electricity bills were extremely high due to the amount of energy the factory uses. After analysing their usage, we designed a system estimated to reduce their energy costs by around £33,000 per year.

For this project we installed 271 Aiko 465W solar panels using a micro-rail mounting system, which keeps the panels close to the roof and gives the installation a clean, flush look.

The system is powered by Sigenergy SigenStor 25kW inverters paired with four 9kWh batteries, providing a total 36kWh of battery storage so the site can store excess solar energy and use it when needed.

Since installing the system last year, real-time monitoring through the Sigenergy app shows the system has already saved the client £18,286.30.

We’re incredibly proud to have been trusted with a project of this size, and even happier to see the system already delivering such great results.

New House Project Flush Roof Panels - Sevenoaks
August 2023

We recently had the privilege of installing solar for this beautiful new-build home.

The client wanted a system that would blend in with the roof rather than sit on top of it, so aesthetics were a big priority for this project. To achieve this, we installed an in-roof solar system, which allows the panels to sit flush with the roofline and gives a much cleaner, more integrated look.

For this installation we used the Solfit in-roof system, which is fully weatherproof and designed to replace a section of roof tiles while holding the panels securely in place.

The system consists of 16 x 375W dual-glass, all-black mono panels, installed in landscape, giving the property a 6kW solar array.

To power the system we installed a Growatt hybrid inverter, paired with a Growatt 6.5kWh lithium battery, allowing the homeowner to store excess solar energy and use it later in the day when it’s needed.
We also installed an iBoost immersion heater controller, which makes use of any surplus energy the home isn’t using or storing in the battery. Instead of exporting it to the grid, the system sends that energy to heat the home’s hot water through the immersion heater.
The finished system looks fantastic on the property, and the client was absolutely delighted with the final result.

Solar Domestic Zinc Roof Installation - Hextable
July 2023

On this project, the client wanted to install solar as a long-term investment and to help reduce his electricity bills.

He had recently built a single-storey extension with a zinc flat roof, which already had clamps fitted that were designed specifically for solar installations. To securely mount the system, we used specialist fixings from Mak Fastener, which are designed for fastening solar panels safely to zinc roofs.

As there is a nearby tree that creates some shading at certain times of the day, we installed Tigo voltage optimisers on each panel. These allow every panel to operate independently, meaning that if one panel is shaded, it won’t reduce the performance of the rest of the system.

For the solar array we installed 13 x 410W all-black monocrystalline panels, giving a clean look on the roof. The panels come with a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty.

The system is powered by a Growatt SPH3600 hybrid inverter, which comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, and is paired with a Growatt 6.5kWh lithium battery, also with a 10-year warranty. This allows the client to store excess solar energy during the day and use it later in the evening.

The client enjoys monitoring the system through the mobile app and often keeps us updated on how much energy he’s producing and the savings he’s making.

Solar Domestic Installation - Sidcup
June 2023
This client was keen to invest in solar panels to help reduce their electricity bills while also doing their bit for the planet.

For this project we installed 13 solar panels, split across two different roof sections to make the best use of the available space and maximise generation.

To ensure the system performs as efficiently as possible, we installed voltage optimisers on all 13 panels. These help each panel operate independently and maintain good performance across the system.

All cabling was run neatly down the side of the property using black 25mm flexible conduit, keeping the installation tidy and discreet.

The inverter and battery were installed inside a downstairs cupboard, keeping everything out of sight while still easily accessible.

The system includes 13 x 410W Phono Solar panels with 13 optimisers, paired with a Growatt SPH3600 hybrid inverter and a Growatt 6.5kWh lithium battery. We also installed a mini consumer unit, as the existing consumer unit did not have any spare ways available.

The client was very pleased with both the solar system and the neatness of the installation.
